Sayyid Amiruddin’s Statement Regarding the ISIS Inspired Terrorist Attacks on Parliament Hill -Oct 22, 2014
My thoughts and prayers with the victims of the terrorist attacks at Parliament Hill today, and against the two Canadian soldiers earlier this week, killing one. These were terrorists who allegedly recently converted to Islam and decided, as non-Arabs, that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was the best alternative to the Arab Spring and for the Arab and Muslim peoples. Neither of these individuals ever read the Quran in Arabic, nor could read or understand it. It seems no matter what we do as a community, such individuals, like the German Jewish boy who allegedly converted to Islam as well to join ISIS and be apprehended by German authorities, and these Canadians, will always ensure Muslims and Islam always remain the enemy to the West. I am very saddened by this. The Canadian government should increase efforts to bring awareness and appreciation for our monarchy, the uniting symbol of the nation, among Canadians of all backgrounds.
