Brief Encounter with Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim-March 24th, 2013
Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin was invited to go for a drive with his Shaykh, H.E. Sultan ul-Awliya Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi by his grandson al-Sayyid Muhammad Nazim during his visit to Cyprus in March, 2013. Doctors have prohibited Mawlana from meeting his students in person due to potential health risks. Hence, now, when visiting Cyprus, it is literally next to impossible for non-family members to get private time and a meeting with him. While Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin already had the honor of a meeting with his Shaykh before this encounter, this second brief and unintended audience with the Qutb al-Ghawth of this time from the family of the Prophet (S); Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi was very significant, as his facial expressions and eyes tell.
