Nov 03/11/2012-President Musharraf visits Mawlana Shaykh Nazim at his house in Cyprus with his family, and takes baiah with him on the Day of the Ghadir Declaration by the Prophet (S) wherein ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (rad) was declared the Master of Believers.
Excerpts from Mawlana’s advice to President Musharraf: “You are an honorable person, and related to the Prophet (S). I am sorry I could not come downstairs to welcome you to my home, you are from the children of the Prophet (S), so please forgive me for that… Honor the honorable ones (Hadith)…. Honor the honorable ones (Hadith), the Prophet (S) said this, therefore as much as possible, offer respect, and our love to honorable ones. I am under the feet of Ahlul Bayt, Ahlul Bayt…Allahu Akbar! Wa lillahil hamd. It is in the very near future, inshallah (the victory promised for the Ahlul Bayt under Sayyidina Mahdi (as)). Our Sayyid here (President Musharraf) should not take any responsibility, nor ask for any responsibility until you are granted it from Sayyidina Mahdi (as) … I am someone who is weak and poor, but my heart is full with love of the Seal of the Prophets (S), love of his Ahlul Bayt, love of Mahdi (alaihi salam). My heart is full, I am waiting for him. Sayyidina Mahdi will come and defeat the anti-Christ and his illusions”…
Comment: Mawlana is saying, and demonstrating through his conduct here, follow me, and honor the Ahlul Bayt irrespective of what others say, the most honorable ones of the people of Islam are the children of the Prophet (S). Doing this will give you the victory and prosperity you seek for the people of Pakistan, if they honor the children of the Prophet (S) without judging them, they will be honored in this world. If they are protected, you and your nation will be protected, if they are relieved of their debts, you will be relieved of your country’s debts, if they are safe, you will be safe, if they are unhappy and suffering, your nation will be unhappy and also suffer. Keeping them happy is honoring Rasulullah (S), allowing them to be isolated, outcast, shun will displease Rasulullah (S) and that will not benefit you in any way.
