“It is stated in the Hadith: “I have left you with two weighty things, the Book of Allah and the people of my House.” This is the requirement of this Hadith, Those elders made great efforts in the beginning, so in future more is expected from them” (Malfozaat: Discourses of Moulana Ilyas Kandhlawi, discourse 58, p 42, Islamic Book Service, 2000)
With great sadness I would like to announce to my friends and relatives that my respected grandfather Lt. Colonel Syed Mohammad Amiruddin an-Naqshbandi (rahmatullahi alaihi) has left this temporary abode to the presence of the Lord Most High. From Allah did we originate, and back into Allah shall we be returned. His medical records demonstrate he did not die from any illnesses, or disease. Rather, with age, and from excessive worship his body eventually began giving up on him. He spent his entire life bringing people to believe in the Prophet of the Bani Hashim, to call the Adhaan of the Bani Hashim, encouraging them to memorize the Qur’an revealed to the Prophet of Bani Hashim, calling people to pray towards the Qibla of the Prophet of Bani Hashim, and to try to dress and act like the Prophet of the Bani Hashim. He was a soldier until his last breaths for the House of ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (karram Allahu wajhul karim). In 2005 I was personally ordered by him, to re initiate him into the Naqshbandi Tariqat, and keep it a secret during his life, under the Hashemite Qutb Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi. He was engaged in the remembrance of Allah, and Salawat on the Prophet (S) and His House until he fell unconscious. He died peacefully in his sleep today. May Allah forgive him, us, and all believers.
Innaa Lillaahi Wa Innaa Ilaihi Raajioon. A very great loss indeed.
Inna lilaahi wa inna ilaihi rajeeoon. He was a mentor to all of us. Will inshallah be attending his Janaza.
Condolences from my side. May I ask about your believes about Khalifatur RasULULLAH Syedna Abu Bakr Razi Allah Anho, Ameer ur Momeneen Syedna Umar ibne Khattab Razi Allah Anho, Zunnaurain Syedna Uthman bin Affan Razi ALLAH anhu

“As for the Caliphate of Abu Bakr, the Champion of Truth [as-Siddiq] (may Allah be well pleased with him), it came about through the unanimous agreement of the Emigrants [Muhajirun] and the Helpers [Ansar]. The way it happened was as follows: When the earthly life of Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) had come to an end, the spokesmen of the Helpers said: “[Let there now be] a leader [amir] from amongst ourselves, and a leader from among you [Emigrants].”
Then stood up ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him), saying: “O band of Helpers, surely you are well aware that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) commanded Abu Bakr to lead [an ya’umma] the people [in prayer]?”They all said, “Yes, of course!” So he said: In that case, which of you considers himself fit to stand in front of Abu Bakr?” They all responded to his saying “May Allah protect us from presuming to stand in front of Abu Bakr!”
…This also happens to be the doctrine [madhab] of al-Hasan al-Basri and a significant group of experts in the tradition [ashab as-hadith]. One piece of evidence to support their view is provided by Abu Huraria (may Allah be well pleased with him), according to whose report the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) once said:
When I was carried aloft on my Heavenly Ascension, I asked my Lord (Almighty and Glorious is He) to appoint ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib as Caliph after my lifetime. But the angels said, “O Muhammad, Allah does whatever He wills. The Caliph after you will be Abu Bakr.”
