Letter Sent By Sayyid Ahmed Amiruddin Feb 25th, 2010 to the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Canada

Dear Mr. Ambassador:

…Today, I dreamt the Messenger of Allah Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa aalihi wa sallam), less than an hour before commencing to write this letter. The Messenger of Allah (sallallhu alaihi wa aalhi wa sallam) was seated on a throne, and behind this throne was an emblem similar to that of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.  Standing in service of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, was the Lion of God, ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (karram Allahu wajhu); the grandfather of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, and the noble princes from the progeny of ‘Ali formed a straight line standing the presence of the Holy Prophet.  The Messenger of Allah (sallahu alaihi wa aalhi wa sallam) instructed me to contact your Excellency, specifying the title “Ambassador” to me, and instructed me tell your Excellency that he (the Holy Prophet Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah) sent me and instructed your Excellency to…

I request this letter and its contents are presented to  His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein as a glad tiding.

Al-Bukhari and Muslim and other compilers of Hadith report that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said, “Whoever sees me in a dream will see me in his wakefulness, and Satan cannot imitate me in shape.”
